- Prime Music launches, giving Prime members ad-free access to over 2 million songs.
October 2016 - Amazon Music Unlimited launches, initially in the US
September 2017 - Alexa on mobile
- Alexa goes live within the Amazon Music mobile app in US, UK, and Germany.
February 2018 - Prime Music launches in India with Alexa
- Amazon.in launches Amazon Prime Music, giving access to tens of millions of songs included with Prime across major International and Indian music labels in over 10 local languages.
September 2019 - Amazon Music HD
- Amazon Music launches high definition streaming with unlimited access to over 50M songs at more than double the bitrate of standard streaming services. Plus, millions of songs in Ultra HD at up to 10x the bitrate. The way music was intended to be heard.
November 2022 - ALL THE MUSIC ON AMAZON MUSIC PRIME
- Amazon Music expands the catalog for Prime Members from 2 million to over 100 million songs and becomes the largest catalog of ad-free top podcasts.
